Just got a 2007 Navara King Cab which has had a load liner fitted. Now that it's in, there aren't ANY points to harness whatever I'm carrying down; which begs the question whats the point in having a pickup if there is nowhere to strap down the load?! The local dealer was less than helpful...

Apparantly there should be two points at the back and two at the front behind the cab that I can put strap locks/ rope onto to secure a load, but I'm guessing whatever was there has been covered by the load liner, I've been told they have some sort of fitting which bolts/ screws in these 4 points but it's not there now.

Can anyone suggest how I can rectify this problem? I just can't see what use the truck is if I can't tie things down safely in the back!

Thanks :)

i thought it came standard but its probably an extra but its a c channel sort of thing that goes round the inside of the tub. you can get these locking eye things that fit into it and are moveable around to tie things down to.
maybe ebay will have some or a breakers. failing that get a fat bird to sit on your load.

well seems whoeva has fitted the liner has just coverd up the fixing points.. mine has a liner in and a rail down each side front to back of the tub which has two sliding cleats (eyes) in each rail.. also two rails in the botton of the tub which you can swap the cleats into if need be.

Im guessing when you fit a liner you take the rails off, then fit the liner then re-fit the rails? :?

the c channel kit looks like this

Hi ,if you have the channels then you need to get the appropriate load liner that goes under the c channels. They do two types of load liner , one goes over ,the other under the c channel, leaving them still useable.

Or just trim the liner with a stanley knife just below the rails.
