I too found myself noticing all navs and pathys as the passed by. However NNN not quite as big here yet. While I m admiring or mostly comparing other trucks and mods. I've been getting strange looks. Seen a few NNN stickers. Found one on my rear cab window which introduced me to the website. However stares I get not waves. My wife thinks I'm mad, my 6 yr old son keeps an eye for the NNN stickers. Happy days

Around here, vehicles used on mine sites must be equipped with safety flags. I imagine this is rather uncommon up there. How about forum flags? Let the wind do the waving for you...

I have a ex british gas utilities van as my work service van that although now no longer has the gas stickers on it it does have very distinctive hi vis chevrons. I was forever getting flashed and waved to by other gas workers so much so that i took to waving back so as not to appear mean. Even had thumbs up from guys working in holes at roadworks as Ive driven by.

Couldn't believe my luck today, someone actually waved back at me.
Since owning my nav (approx 12 months) I reckon I have waved to around 25 people, and probably 5 have responded.

I usually give a quick flash then wave as to ensure I have gained their attention, but even then, mostly just blank stares haha

I have been trying this, but extended the courtesy to other makes.. so far the most likely to wave back have been other big black trucks and modified trucks... but i think that's a different sub-culture generally.

do we need to face the fact that Most Nav owners are just miserable and unfriendly?
(present company excluded... mostly)
