HI Guys,

So after a 16 year wait of anticipation, and a long car history, I am finally purchasing my first pick up tomorrow morning. I have been looking at the pick up market for over a year to make sure I made the best decision. As to be expected, I started with the L200 and Hilux but soon realised what I pile of **** they are. Then I took a Navara for a test drive and found the truck I had been waiting for.

I found the perfect 2010 Navara, in blue, Tekna, with roll bars. I will upload pics tomorrow.

I am a 33 year old, London based builder.

Thank you:smile2:

Hi Omar, and welcome to NNNet.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your new truck. Post up some photos of it when you pick it up.

Welcome.

Not sure the Toyota and Mitsubishi are that bad, but I do agree the Navara is a better drive.
Nissan's rust proofing isn't great, so it would be worth giving it a good coat of Waxoyl or similar before winter starts.

thanks guys, got it yesterday, Just getting used to driving an Automatic, I've been driving manuals for 16 years lol. anyone know how to drive it more economically?? seems to be burning through the diesel like its free, lol. anyone tried using biodiesel in the Navs, Im thinking about a 5050 bio/diesel mix.

Are you thinking of a 50/50 diesel/cooking oil mix?
If so, the fuel system will last about a day!
Bio fuel is already mixed with diesel road fuel at varying percentages at the pump, it is not recommended to go any higher with the bio as problems can be expected.
Navara's are very sensitive to fueling problems, both quality and more vitally air leaks.
In my opinion Hi Lux's are built purely for working, something they do extremely well, better than Navara's in fact.
