Hello fellow truck owners,

A little about me! I have always wanted a pick up truck but never had the funds for one. Finally last year after 31 rotations of our local star i managed to get one!

I found a 2008 Navara in Falmouth, Devon while working there and drove her home to scotland where she now lives with me :laugh2:

I look forward to chatting with you all here and hopefully learning a few new things along the way, and maybe even helping where i can.

Welcome along Frazer.

Hopefully it having lived in Devon it will be quite rust free, but make sure you get it undersealed. Have you any plans for the truck?

Yes! luckily it’s in great condition i was due to get the undersealing done before this winter but I didn’t get round to it so it’s as soon as the better weather comes in again I’ll go to town with the under seal. I do have an issue with an ABS light being on.

Turns out to be the Decel G-sensor. its fault code is c1113 which brings up lots of nice pictures of a sensor in the centre console on google but when I look at mine the bolts are there but the sensor is not hahaha. But I have been told by Nissan that being a 58 plate it is all inside the airbag ECU in the centre consol.

so yeah i need that off to pass the MOT this month but wow! it’s been illusive to get to the bottom of, I had to phone 8 Nissan dealers over Scotland just to find out that its part of that ECU. so yeah it’s been fun so far! hahaha.
