Hi im new to the world of owning a Navara and looking for a little help and clarification

I have just bought a navara double cab (W reg year 2000) after selling my Patrol, iv read all the horror stories about the engines "blowing up" is this model at risk??? a little info on the truck- it is a manual double cab with 69000miles on the clock. The VIN starts with JN1CGU (is this of use??) and is a 2.5td with a intercooler. The truck seem to be running fine at the moment im just a bit worried since reading peoples experiences with the engine. Also i belive it was imported when it was new from Cyprus.

Also if anyone has any info on anyother things to look out for on this particular truck it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome!
If your truck has a chrome front bumper you will be fine as it is a pre-facelift model with the TD25 engine, and they didnt have the engine problems.
I would guess from the age your truck will be fine
