Recently installed a new replacement engine and it has a lot less mileage then what the clock displays for the previous engine, is there any way or any diagnostic tool to adjust it at all to reflect the correct mileage?
New engine, how to adjust the mileage on the clock?

One way would be to buy a pre used cluster with mileage close to the new engine.
However over here in the UK it is illegal to change the vehicle mileage in such a way.
I believe nissan consult software can correct mileage discrepancies , however its massively frowned on in the uk! to the point that the previous 5 years mileage readings are logged on the annual mot so any adjustment would flag up and make the car almost unsellable.
Thanks for the response, truck is in Africa, just thought I would post the question here as UK has the same models
