Hello All,

Based near Belfast here and been a Mitzy Warrior owner before, loved its looks but have moved onto a YD25DDTi 2011 Navara with 44k miles on the clock, fault free until now with 70k on the clock. Really do love the Nav but just had AC condenser radiator replaced, totally rotten at the bottom, easy enough job to remove but did require some careful pushing & pulling. P1021 keeps being logged but thankfully it doesn't seem to throw up the MIL lamp but would be nice to pin point. Oh and 4wd lamp now comes on intermittently, very annoying, but not half as much as the slight steering veer to the left with slight offset steering wheel. Anyways its good to finally be on here and source my faults, any guidance initially on here is welcomed before I start thinking about dreaded dealers which I don't want to do if I can avoid it.

Hi and welcome, :wavey

You're a brave man saying you liked the look of the L200.

This does seem to be a weakness due to the lower air intake being wide open, there is a mesh cover available to help keep the stones etc getting in there. I fitted a 32" lightbar in mine, killing two birds with one stone.....

Now if you had an older D40 I would have pointed you towards the Turbo solenoid, however I believe your turbo variable vanes are controlled electronically and not by vacuum, is that correct?

This is related to the 3 switches on the transfer box, they rot on the inside. The easiest thing is to replace them all, although, Hamlet has tried opening them up to refurbish them. Have a look at this link, and the links within; viewtopic.php?f=45&t=95066

It will be worth getting your wheel alignment done on a 4 wheel jig. Look for a specialist rather than Kwikfit type places or the dealer. If there is a problem they can't adjust at least they should be able to point you in the right direction :fingersx  ......

Oh and avoid the dealers at all costs

Many Thanks Lookskyward1

You are sooooooo on the ball, have checked your link and poked about and BOOM, info required. just done the Blink Code procedure for 4WD and it worked first time around.... actually now I'm super impressed with this site. Code #10, wait sensor, will have a spanner on that in an hour. You have to understand......I HATE DEALERS!! They just take your money and leave you feeling that you didn't get what you want, and bamoozealing you with technical terms when really they don't know....grrrrrrr. It has taken me 1 hour 20 mins to sign in, activate and now I have answers that I can act upon..... GOD BLESS NISSAN-NAVARA.NET, and of course lookskyward1

Ohhh I check the turbo vane / electronic or vacuum operation,

You're welcome, but most of that information has been posted by our members over the years, we have quite a library of information now. :thumbright:
Spot on, I will indeed do the relative searches and see what I can see, do what I can do, and yell when it doesn't work, ohhh and your right, boost control is by electronic actuator, pretty much like a fly by wire throttle actuator! I will indeed post pics and new posts in the right thread, please excuse my ignorance, how do you post a pic?
