Having gone back and forth to Richard Sanders Nissan, since I got my Navara, with not a great deal of help on the good old
rusty bummper issue.

I next tried Nissan UK to see what they could do. So today Stephen from Nissan customer service got back to me and said as I'm the second owner from new and the 3 year warranty ran out in September they could not help me even as a good-will gesture. :monkey:
It doesn't fill me with a lot of encouragement for future dealings with Nissan!! :censored:

So next on my list is rust above the windscreen wish me luck!! :thumbright:

Hmm that doesn't sound right, unless the bumper has been dented or drilled in for fitting parking sensors I cannot possibly see a valid argument against it. Regardless of what their T&Cs state. So if there isn't any damage or modifications I would continue pressing them.

You got a choice then, take it as it is but that doesn't sound right to me. Or take it further but it is going to cost you money. You can have it independently inspected, to me it sounds like an inherent defect, ie one that was there when the vehicle was sold to you and not caused by you. As such Nissan can't hide behind their policy.
