Hey Guys from Ireland,
Bought an '03 D22 and have since noticed a small few problems i wanna sort out..
Having read around i have solved a few- this place is great.. but a few remain hopefully some may be able to advise on.

Central Locking - Front Passenger door is not working... Maybe the Motor is known to go or a certain sensor?

RPM Counter - The light behind it is not working in the dash. Is there a way in to the Bulbs or Fuses for it? There is light behind the speedo etc so its just the bulb behind the RPM.

Spare Key - I only got one. I read on ebay you can get all the spare bits but can you get the chip too that needs reprogrammed?? most im guessing is just for guys who broke the key and plan on using the existing chip.

Anyone know where id get a centre cap? none on ebay for the standard 16's

Forgot to add,
The Brake light is coming off and on on the dash when i brake....
Does that mean the pads are getting low? like is there a sensor there???

Hi there and welcome to the site!

Can't answer the door lock not working.

Bulbs for the dash, i think its like 6 screws and the binical comes out. 2 screws hold the plastic facia in, above the steering wheel, then 4 dotted around the clocks (pretty obvious) then just tease it out. Theres 2 bulbs for the back lighting and 3 for the indicators/main beam. Its worth replacing all 5 while you have the clocks out, they silver over pretty bad and then it goes dim as anything.

Spare key, get a blank off ebay and then theres a post on here for how to reprogram the keys.

Try Nissan for a centre cap, if not ebay is worth looking at every now and again.

Brake light flashing, could be the handbrake bouncing up causing a false alarm, try holding it down. If not check the pads and see.
