Got my Navara from Vanarama. They supplied few extras. one of the extras- front parking sensors. the factory option is £275 and color coded to the vehicle color. Vanarama's option £350. And imagine my shock, when on brand new Savannah Yellow i see the black parking sensors.
Contacted Vanarama , hoping for quick resolution. But hit the brick wall.
I have than sent them an email:
Hello Hannah,
Anything that is being sold as an additional option to the vehicle is not clearly described on your website. I feel it is a responsibility of the sales staff to explain the limitation of the product proposed. other ways client assumes it is the same as from the manufacturers or better. Parking sensors sold are not the same color as the vehicle, and more expensive than manufacturers option. Simply unacceptable.
Please find screenshots attached with the cost from Vanarama and Nissan.

Anything that is described as an option is explained just as the dealership website. As you can see from the screenshots you have provided in your response, the explanation is basic and does not offer colour options on both the Vanarama website and the Nissan website.
Furthermore, the screenshots you have provided are the factory order options. Leo quoted you on the Vanarama accessory which should be clearly stated at £300+VAT on your order confirmation or your quotes. I have included a screenshot of our prices.
Vanarama cannot be held accountable if a customer assumes. If colour was something that was important to you then this should have been mentioned during the sales calls.
