It could be a number of things have you got access to a diagnosis reader that plugs into the OBD port that should show any fault codes stored in the ecu.

 

Intercooler hoses want checking as they seem to go regularly on the NP300

 

That's what i was thinking as it seems OK at low revs but nothing at higher as if the big turbo is not having an input

Had it on a code reader, it gave a p2263 turbo boost control performance. Any ideas?

 

Cant quite understand why are you messing with it when its still under warranty.

 

Because its over a month until they can look at it. If its an easy fix then I'll do it. Warranties are all good, but not when it's sat on my drive.

 

Well you call out the breakdown recovery and the job gets done a lot quicker .When you call them out the clock is ticking on response times . If your dealer really wont look at it take it to one that will its totally unacceptable for them not to look at it. If it was ours it would parked outside the gates until it was sorted . Not sure anybody on here is likely to know the cause from the fault code and only Nissan consult will give you an accurate reading as nissan dont use generic codes , as all NP300s are still under warranty apart from the few high milers.
Have you checked inter cooler hoses ?? as suggested as with the history the Np300 is having with them they are number 1 likely cause.

Hey just wondering if you ever had an issue with it after the turbo actuator was fixed? mine is at this exact stage, where it revs all over the place and loses almost all power going up hills.

 

Engine light came ever time and the bakkie losse power when you go up hills what should I do it an NP 300 Hardbody 2011 please help
