hi can any one tell me why my d22 has poor preformance.ie put foot down hardly no go let foot off and she starts to pick upp

soz 2.5 d22 with egr valve..

Its the neutral position sensor on your gearbox id say. Look right up almost on top of the gearbox about half way down the truck and you will see two plugs. One brown one grey. The left hand side one as you look up should be the brown one. There will be two wires going into it. Just cut the wires with a pair of snips and if the power problem disappears then bingo faulty sensor. Either replace it or just leave it as is. I and a few others have just done this with no ill effects or you can spend 68 quid and get a new one from nissan :cheers2:
