i've noticed on our 2013 d40 (LE, 2.5L diesel, 1800km as of writing) that once stopped (example: waiting at a traffic light, parked and the tranny is at P), there seems to be this vibration every 12-15 seconds (haven't gotten around to actually measuring the actual timing in between, it's just the one-one thousand, two-one thousand count).

of course, this goes without saying that there's the usual vibration from a diesel engine but this is different. best way i could describe the said vibration is imagine you're sitting in a chair then somebody bumps into it once every said time interval.

has anyone else experienced this? TIA.

It's hard to take you seriously, that you are not a 14 year old but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

I have two suggestions for you, we are an easy going forum but find it runs best when people go to the 'Introduce yourself' section before posting questions. So pop in there and do the necessary.

Secondly your Navara is new, therefore still in warranty so take it back to your dealer.

do you have the air con turned on it could be the compressor kicking in and out
