Hi all,
Decided to fit some Kenwood 6X9's I found In my loft, easy fit but unsure on speaker connections, I have light green and purple on the passenger side front speakers, and red and light green on the drivers side, can anyone advise which is positive and negative.
Had a search thru other posts but unable to find which is which, you would presume red would be live, bit not according to a post I did find, any help would be great .
Thanks

Plug in the speaker if you have them the wrong way around the sound comes out backwards.

In actual fact the speaker should work no matter which way you connect it but the cone will behave differently. Bass is the most visual and audible when you have them the wrong way but under some circumstances you wont even notice.

Lol.. cheers guys like the comments, have noticed since fitting them yesterday, bass is non excistent , a cust kindly gave me a cd rom of the Navara workshop manual today, when I asked him I'd Nissan had contacted him about his wheels, also told him about this site, may have a look at it today, cheers anyway.

Light green is the common to both, so would be negative.
If you get them the wrong way round they will be out of phase, so it worth trying to get it right or the sound will be even worse than standard! :)

cheers mowerman, tbh the sound is ****, bass has gone completely, need to remove door cards and double check the connections me thinks.
