I’ve searched and read here and the net in general. Lots of info already thanks guys, which has led me here.

Started the Pathy up yesterday, and the airbag light started flashing. Haven’t had the dash/fascia off or been under the front seats etc etc. I found the info and did the ignition on and off three times thing, resulting in one long flash and two short. Confirmed this this afternoon at a friends garage, I’ll include the photos here.

Question is do I just replace the clock spring and try my luck? Or start trying to see if it’s a fuse etc? tracing things with a multimeter is kind of beyond my capability unfortunately.

Thanks for any help folks. 👍

There is no fuse, and I would agree that checking circuits with a multimeter would be very difficult.

I would say there is a very high chance that it is the clock spring at fault, it is a common issue.

Fairly expensive to buy, the £20 ones off eBay don't have the connections for the steering angle sensor, in spite of saying they fit!

That’s reassuring, thank you. I can’t remember the exact thread, but on one post on here someone mentioned a 13 amp fuse to do with it. Thanks for the reply and the help, I’m definitely leaning towards just replacing the clock spring to be honest.
From what I could find out mine’s the euro 5 two plug version, and rather helpfully Billcar have confirmed with my VIN. There’s only about a tenner’s difference, but to be honest I’d rather give Billcar the money than my local stealer.
