Interesting question. Not known to fall, but of course they are a wear item so won't last forever.

Personally I would go for genuine parts or a premium brand such as SKF. It is often a good idea to assess the guides too.

Billcar can get genuine parts at a discount, I would recommend them.
 
Apparently billcar has been serving one where it is near 250,000 miles and has had a hard towing life. No problem with the chains they said! Just a thought, unless yours is making funny noises!
