Yes totally on the wrong side of what the V...a boys say is ok, too much weight on the drawbar no brakes no road going tyres etc,

if just cruising at about 20-25mph Its roughly double yours, around 8-9 miles per gallon depends on conditions etc but use mine a lot for skiing so can get much lower than that but your rib will weigh on a bit as well,

My old mans got a 175 etec. In my opinion, it's super good on fuel. Quiet. More torque. Lighter. Smaller.

All in all, better than any 4 stroke outboard

All in all, better than any 4 stroke outboard
