Hi guys not really tech assistance just a curious question. What does this button do or what is it used for? I have pressed it and the rpm increases but I'm guessing from the doodle on the switch its for a heater or something? Fast idle, it has two purposes.
Firstly as explained its mainly used in colder climates (lots of Japanese imports) to increse the engine rpm's a little to help warm the engine and get the water flowing around the engine quicker as at idle there is basically no water pressure.
Secondly it also increases the rpm if you have any hydraulics or pto devices and possibly large electrical draining devices.

i still prefer launch control
