Hi Guys,
newbie here with an annoying problem.
If the temperature is below 5c i really struggle to get the truck to start. If its got decent battery life I can normally get it to fire eventually with constant cranking. Turning the ignition on and off does not seem to help.
in the last year the truck has had 2 new glow plug control relays and 2 new sets of glow plugs. These do not appear to make any difference.
The garage believed it was suffering from fuel leak down over night. However its been sat for 5 days in cold temperatures. Today i went to start it at 8c and it fired first time.
The bill for the proposed fuel pressure works is over ÂŁ2k and we cannot justify the spend on the truck.
any help gratefully appreciated.
