Your thoughts needed please!!

Whilst driving past my local car dealership today (not a nissan dealer) i noticed they had a navara on the forecourt . I turned around and went back to take a look at it , had a chat with one of the salesmen and its a 57 plate navara sat nav,leather seats , hands free , armadilo roller cover etc with 130,000 miles on the clock !!!! BUT it had a brand new engine fitted by nissan back in december and has only done 3000 miles since with receipts to prove the work is genuine . They want £8549 + VAT for it , would you guys consider buying such a vehicle? any help or advice is much appreciated .

Ahh right fellow welshman , so what do you reckon is the nav worth thinking about in your opinion ?

love my d22 was aware of the big end problem before i bought it, then went to billcar to get it sorted. next move is remap buy stanton in swansea ( read his posts he builds race cars for a living and had a d22 that went bang so he did a compleate rebuild and has written a new base code for the on board computer, his d22 now does 0-60 in 9 sec and hes still improving it to make it quicker ) sorry its not the d40 your after but stick with it. thay are good trucks

sorry back to your question if u realy want a nav see whats for sale on the forum that why u get a nav owned buy somebody whos looked after it and it should be A1 :thumbleft:

With the new engine it does sound a good deal, but you need to consider with that sort of milage, that other things on the truck will obviously have signs of wear :wink:

Try and find out what exactly was fitted as "a new engine" will prob mean a new engine block with all the old parts like turbo etc all bolted to new engine block. As LTs says just depends on what the condidtion is on everything else, but as long as its all checked properly and dealer gives you some form of warrenty then sounds like a good price! also, if it feels right to you and you like it, go for it!
