Hi,
I am having trouble codeing two replacement injectors.
I recently fitted a set of cleaned injectors(2nd hand)to cure a low speed missfire(2000rpm).Two of the new injectors cyl 1 and 2 coded with no problem but the cyl 3 and 4 will not accept the new codes.I checked and double checked the numbers and all looks correct. The ute now runs on all four cyls at all rpms and drives smoothly with no smoke or rattles.I am completly stumped as to why only two of the four injectors could be coded. All injectors have 0000000letter number at the end of the code, does the 0000000 denote the plus or minus from a baseline if so will it be ok to drive without codeing two of the new injectors.

It will be ok to drive, although you may get some injector rattle.

There actually wouldn't be much point putting the codes in as the injectors will have worn since new and the codes stamped on will not be right any more.

In an ideal world you would get them recalibrated and put their new codes in, but if it doesn't smoke or use too much fuel then I wouldn't worry.
