Wondering if anyone can share any experience with this issue:

Just bought my Navara, it's done about 1100kms since a service. (Nissan) but expertise is limited here in Zambia.

It's coming up with amber engine warning light - that I've had Zeroed a couple of times but comes back.

The Error code is P24A8:38 and and :67 - for both the coolant pump and the water pump.

The detail of that code states: it's the control circuit: i.e. ' Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) coolant pump 2 control circuit 2.DEF'. There are three more codes in the same vein:
' Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) coolant pump 2 control curcuit 3.DEF'
'1st Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) water pump control circuit 2.DEF'
'1st Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) water pump control circuit 3.DEF'

Noting that another P24A8 code is talked about in some threads here with the 'Stuck Closed' detail, however this does not seem to apply to my issue.

Has someone experience with this one?

Any suggestions on best way to remedy? I'm finding that the local Nissan dealership works better with a little guidance form me on what I want done ;-)

Hi everyone, been looking on forum and found people with the same error code but no real answers on fix. My MIL light has come on, used my code reader and cleared but has come back on. Code shows as "EGR cooler coolant pump performance/stuck off" Does anyoune Know the location of the pump...

Thx Landmannnn - I'll give the bleeding and then the replacement a go and report back on the experience.

Update here: I did a full coolant flush and the system has been going fine without warning lights for 3000kms. Unfortunately, now it's come back on with same codes. Will bleed the system and report back.
